The Judicial Web Interface is designed for data entry of new judicial incidents by your RA staff (or other staff). This means that a staff member can go to their own room at any hour of the day or night and enter a new judicial incident over the web. After entering their user name and password, they fill in the basic information about the incident, including time, location, description, full report, the violations, and the students involved. The violations are presented in a list box, as created in The Judicial Officer. The students are searched for by student number or name, and the system finds those students in your campus-wide student information system and then imports (or updates) their data in the judicial database. This way the judicial database does not need to include all students on campus, while your staff members do not have to worry about spelling the students' names correctly. Once the RA submits the report, the data is stored in the judicial database, but at the status level of the user entering the report. This means that an RD can easily view all reports at that RA status level for their own RA staff. All web interfaces are written in ColdFusion (CFML).
